Atlanta Home Improvement – Design Trends: Updated Bathrooms

We were honored to be hired to design and build this gorgeous bathroom, as an ode to Cararra marble, in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta. The bathroom featured a custom vanity crafted from reclaimed mahogany (salvaged from African pallets), a custom built in for storage and design, and a double shower head shower with a frameless glass door.
Refined Luxury
This bathroom, while perfectly serviceable, but was somewhat bland and did not maximize the space. The homeowners hired us to re-design the room and customize it with a classic, yet cleanly modern, combination of natural stone and wood. The floors, large walk-in shower, and vanity top are subtly grey-veined Italian Carrara marble. The vanity cabinet and mirror frame were custom designed by LSR and crafted from African mahogany milled from recycled pallets.
The pictures at the top showcase the results of a thoughtful layout – we did not increase the room’s size, but truly maximized the space by utilizing it thoughtfully.
