Before & After

This Old House Magazine – Before & After
May 2003

This poor abused Atlanta Victorian house, an Asa Candler original, (Coca Cola founder) was a blight on the landscape, the street, and the neighborhood.  It had been tampered with, and remuddled many times over its 120 year life span.  Our goal was to take the house back to its original curb appeal.  Thanks to a neighbor, with an old photograph of the house, we restored the roofline and added significant square footage both upstairs and in the rear of the house.  We restored the nearly 7 foot windows, added rear stained glass, antique doors, antique stairs, antique casement windows, gorgeous bathrooms, a beautiful new kitchen, and later, a two car garage to match the house.  _This Old House Magazine_ ran the dramatic pictures of the before and after of this now beautiful home.
